The Australian Pain Society’s Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) is the only multidisciplinary conference in Australia offering insights into the complex nature of pain management from a variety of medical, nursing, research and allied health perspectives.

The 2026 Australian Pain Society 46th Annual Scientific Meeting (APS 2026) is being held from 19 - 22 April 2026 at the Adelaide Convention Centre, SA.

The Scientific Program Committee is thrilled to have procured two impressive international speakers; Professor Yves De Koninck, CERVO Brain Research Centre, Canada, and Professor Annina Schmid, Oxford University, UK. They will be joined by an inspiring range of national speakers presenting a contemporary scientific program showcasing the breadth of pain management research, theory, and practice.

The APS invites all those with an interest in pain management and education to attend APS 2026 in Adelaide, a rich multi-cultural and naturally beautiful location.
