​As an Occupational Therapist Blair has a keen interest in chronic pain management (20 years +) including helping those with pain increase their engagement in the activities and roles that are important to them, alongside pain. As part of this, he has had involvement in a range of group pain management programmes including the 3-week, group, pain management programme at Burwood Hospital, Christchurch.  Interdisciplinary functioning is also a core interest, as part of his role of Clinical Coordinator at the Pain Management Centre, Burwood Hospital. He has a Masters in Health Science: Rehabilitation.
