Cheryl Davies

Manager, Tū Kotahi Māori Asthma and Research Trust, Lower Hutt, NZ​
Ms Cheryl Davies (Ngati Raukawa, Ngati WehiWehi), Senior Māori researcher, Community partner and Manager of Tū Kotahi Māori Asthma and Research Trust. Cheryl has managed the Tū Kotahi Māori Asthma & Research Trust over the past 26 years. Tū Kotahi was formed as the first Māori Asthma Society in New Zealand in the early 1990′s. She has presented at a number of national and international conferences, focusing on discussing Māori and respiratory illnesses and healthy housing. Cheryl has a keen interest in research involving Māori and has been involved with a number of key research projects over the past 20 years.
